The fan is applied for outlet and inlet ventilation in underground mining plants, where methane hazard and dust explosion can occur. This is an axial, single-stage fan with electric drive.Dependently on used ventilation system both fresh air delivered by circulating ventilation or used air containing methane and coal dust can be forced through the fan.
